This endeavor is proving just as fruitful as her content creation did, cementing the fact that Niki was made to be a star. No matter what she touches, it turns to gold. She currently has thousands of followers on Spotify and comes up with new music, every now and then.

4.    Jax

 You might have heard of her as Jackie Miskanic when she was a contestant on the 14^th season of American Idol. Not only did she finish third in the competition, but she also got the confidence and push she needed to release music independently. Her single “Victoria’s Secret” was her first entry into the Billboard hot 100 charts but with her talent and voice, we’re sure this is simply the beginning.

This English singer-songwriter is only 21 years old but has already won the BBC Sound of 2022 award with her unique music and style, making her a force to reckon with. Her debut album ‘To Hell with it’ went all the way to number 40 on the UK Singles chart, not bad for someone so young! African-born Dutch, Rimon is one of the best indie artists currently. Not only does she have numerous albums to her name already, but she’s also slowly making a name for herself in the music industry.

Her lyrics are deep and emotive and her songs leave an impact. The topics she chooses to write and sing about are also exceptional. They make you think and feel, long after they’ve finished. Making her a changemaker, an icon, and an influencer all at once.

7.    Girl in Red

This Norwegian powerhouse is another amazing singer-songwriter, who recorded and produced both of her first two EPs in her bedroom! With talent like her, you don’t really need much else, it seems!

She writes about Mental Health issues and problems and has also been called a queer icon by Paper Magazine. If you haven’t heard her stuff yet or followed her on Spotify, it’s time that you do, because you’ll be wowed and amazed.

8.    Zoe Wees

This chart-topping German sensation has gained popularity recently. She only started making music in 2019, but ever since then she’s amassed a following for herself and is making waves in the industry.

She also suffers from Rolandic Epilepsy and finds that music calms down her disease, making her feel calmer and more in control. In fact, her most famous song “Control” was about her anxiety and her illness and how she didn’t feel like she was in control. Hip-hop and dancehall diva, Shenseea already has a popular collaboration with Tyga that most people have heard of. Not only is she supremely talented but her talent landed her a Grammy nomination this year, at the 64^th Annual Grammy Awards.
